Ash Forge is your personal execution coach — but like any great coach, he can only work with the information you give him. If Ash’s messages ever feel vague, generic, or disconnected, it’s usually not because something is broken — it’s because his inputs are incomplete.
Here’s why that happens — and how to fix it.
🔍 1. Missing or Shallow Goal Descriptions
The Problem: You set a goal but leave the description empty or vague (e.g., “Get promoted” with no details).
Why it matters: Ash uses the description to understand the why behind the goal — your motivation, urgency, and emotional stakes.
Fix: Write 2–3 lines explaining why this goal matters to you. Be honest. Be specific.
📋 2. Tasks Not Connected to Goals
The Problem: You add tasks but don’t associate them with any specific goal.
Why it matters: Ash doesn’t just look at what you’re doing — he looks at how your actions support your bigger goals. No links = no insight.
Fix: When you create or edit tasks, link them to the appropriate goal. You’ll see this option in the task details.
📅 3. Skipping Weekly Reviews
The Problem: You finish the week but never submit your review.
Why it matters: Ash uses reviews to track your emotional momentum, what went well, and where you struggled. Without them, he’s flying blind.
Fix: Take 2 minutes each week to submit your review. It doesn’t have to be long — it just has to be real.
✅ 4. Not Updating Task Status
The Problem: You complete tasks but don’t mark them as done — or you leave things untouched for weeks.
Why it matters: Ash doesn’t guess. If a task looks pending, he assumes it wasn’t done. That skews his perception of your progress.
Fix: Each time you complete something, mark it done. If plans change, update or delete the task. Stay current.
🎯 5. Weak Signal = Weak Coaching
Ash’s messages are built using your:
- Goals and descriptions
- Tasks and status updates
- Weekly reviews
- Historical progress
- Motivation and commitment statements
The stronger the signal, the smarter and more personalized Ash becomes. If you want elite coaching, you have to give elite input.
💡 Quick Checklist
Before blaming Ash, check your:
✅ Do all goals have detailed descriptions? ✅ Are tasks linked to goals? ✅ Did I submit last week’s review? ✅ Are my tasks marked done or updated? ✅ Did I give Ash enough to work with?
If you answer “yes” to all of the above — and Ash still feels off — we want to know. Reach out via support@qeap.io so we can look into it.
